Hi People,
well, I'd like to compress the low Freq of the snare separate as I do with the insterts.
I mean to use a Eq+Comp through the insert and to use a different Comp. for the low. (I'd like to check how it sounds)
I never worked with side chains etc. :oops: and I'm sure that you can give me a tip.
I work with Pro Tools.

maybe I'm not sure what you are trying to do. Normally you would sidechain a comp so one instrument would affect another one, or ot reduce a certain frequency, like a de-esser. Asnare drum is such a short transient sound I don't think it will do anything different with an eq in the sidechain.
