I've searched the forum, but haven't found a related issue, please let me know if this has been discussed already!

Hi I'm neew to this forum and the 'world of mixers' and would really appreciate some advice...

I bought the Soundcraft mixer last week, but still can't get any use out of it! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get any feed from the guitar OR the mic inputs. I'm using 'unbalanced' leeds and plugging them into the 'unbalanced' outputs and inputs - and have tried plugging them into different parts of my sound-card, still with no effective results.

What am can I do?
