I have yet to find some basic info regarding the compatibility as a DAW controller of the DM3200 and a Pro Tools Setup. I have a 002 Rack and will eventually move over to the HD systems as money allows. However, is it enough to purchase the FireWire card and plug directly in and with a few configs the DM3200 will play nice with Pro Tools? (Ver. 6.4 Currently). Anyone use this setup?

The box isn't out yet. Unless you are a beta tester? I have one on preorder...supposed to be 6/10 or so although I've seen "late July" as well depending on the dealer.
PT should be good to go though as all of the marketing on the website seems to be patterned after Yamaha O2R96...
I can tell you the manual (also on the website) states the first firmware release will NOT support all of the DAW or Firewire capabilities advertised. :(
