planet red 4 January 2002 Do these stand up to neve/api pres and eq's? I can get a pair for a good price, but need to decide soon. I'm sure you guys have experience with them. what do you think? BUT the eq is a classic! Great quality 'cut' on gtr and quite the thing to bring out the bell or 'chink' up on a funky hihat. For the eq alone WORTH GETTING, audition the pre against what you already have over time..(what DO you have BTW?)
