It's been on my mind a lot lately that I just don't take advantage of reference material often enough. My mixes are suffering for it too. So I've decided to stockpile a couple of representative tracks across several styles that should serve as fool-proof comparision and ref. mixes when working on projects. Most often I'll be working within the electronic genre but more often I'm writing things with a more classic rock tilt. Here are a few that I'm going to add to the list. Everybody chime in with your recommendations!

-Steely Dan - Babylon Sisters
-Burnt Friedman & Jaki Liebeziet - Secret Rhythms
-Bill Evans & Jim Hall - Undercurrent
-Burt Bacharach & Elvis Costello - Painted From Memory (whole album)
-Stevie Wonder - Superwoman
-Lansing Dreiden - Advancing Flags

I need more...
