I have a mission to rewire a 2 room project studio, which i built a few years ago. I do not own the studio, nor do i work there. Satisfaction is my reward.
The final cabling expenses were left because we needed to determine final placement of equipment, and whetether or not clients' son would even use studio. Gladly, he did everyday since it was up and running.
There have been some GREAT posts around this site about cables/restoration lately.
I cannot solder to a pro level yet, so cookie cutter cables are the consideration.
My recommendation was for 99.9% OFC cable, using Nuetrik gold plated connections, and offering a lifetime warranty. This applies to every connection w/in the studio, reguardless of type/purpose.
Looking for recommendations of brand/model. Thats the question..?
Keep in mind the studio's wiring will remain or at least ten years, and is currently victI'm to 002's conversion. Hardware upgrades will happen, wiring needs to remain. The client is not looking for boutique wiring, just a set-it-forget-it project studio solution, w/ professional standards.
The connections consist of 1/4" ts, XLR m/f.
there is a long run of speaker wire (75ft.) from a mesa triple rec head (CR), into mesa 4x12 cab, into the (iso) room. I am thinking a 14 gauge wire would work. And uphold the standards.
Budget is not unlimited, full enough to get what is needed from a practical POV without skimping/overkilling.
I have suggested monster 500 series cables as a compromise. Mogami is certianly in the considerations. Suggestions welcomed. The point is to have no 'weak link' and not 'overdo' the studio's wiring at any pont in the signal chain.

So it's known... digi 002, creation station, Mesa triple (iso room) mic'd,+ DI bass & guitar, martin acoustic, various stompboxes (which will adhere to studios' wiring standards), HR monitors.
I'm aware of the quantity/type of cable. Just searching for quality/practicality opinions between manufacturer's.

It sounds like you've got a really good handle on what you need. The only thing that jumped out at me is 14 AWG for a 75ft. speaker run. I'd seriously think about taking that up to at least 12 gauge. (I'd personally go with 10 or better over that length)
Light gauge wire will have more a few cumulative affects on the signal - especially if the head is fussy about impedance.

This equally interesting calculator shows resistance and some of the other electrical characteristics that could potentially change the tone, and how they change over distance/frequency. [75ft is about 2300cm]
I'm not saying these things will necessarily drastically change the tone, but a lot of people say it's noticeable. For the difference in price between 14 AWG and heavier gauges, I'm not sure it's a good place to cut costs.

Thats an awfully long speaker cable run. Especially for a tube amp that relies on a fairly constant impedance at its output to operate in the way its designed to do so. I think your lossy artifacts will be noticeable even with larger cable. The impedance of the cab may also be a factor. If he's using an 8ohm load then with your handy-dandy calculator you can determine how much length you need to keep the impedance above the 4ohm max for this amp head. Still, its a lot of wire and even with a proper sizing, I think the tone will suffer.
