I'm just stepping into the realm of digital recording...so it's great to find a resource like this--great work!
I am planning on purchasing an Mbox with Pro Tools Le, and would like any input on whether my current computer will work well with it. As far as I could see, it meets all the specs necessary...but would appreciate any further input or suggestions. Here is what I've got:
Dell Dimension 4550 desktop
2.66 gHz
18 in. display
512 MB RAM
60 GB Hard Disk
My recording purposes will be fairly simple...one track at a time, mainly acoustic guitar, keyboard (Yamaha p80 is my controller), and I will mic my hammer dulcimer. Maybe a few vocals here and there. Please let me know of any additional info needed to give good suggestions. Thank you!
