The action of recording (basics as well as overdubs), as opposed to editing, mixing, or mastering.

Working on the 3rd song from my band's first EP, applying some stuff from NTM (Nail The Mix). Feedback welcome:

Ever since I have had them, I've realised they're a bit like Marmite - people love them or hate them, but I have realy liked mine, however, I sold them before christmas to an enthusiast, and I'd like to replace them. Trouble is, I really don't know what to buy.

My cps275 +/- 17V light is not on, is it causing stop give the power to my console? I can see the lights on and off a sec when I shut down the cps275 on my console. Checked the fuse, doesn't seems like blew. Does anyone know what is happening?

Hey guys! I just had a session with a good friend of mine from Berklee. Would love to know what you think. The singer brought the backing track and gave it to me as a WAV. So I wasn't able to mix the tracks separately. So I guess I'm really looking for feedback on the vox.

Will you recommended an ART Preamp or Channel Strip ?

I first learned about CAPI gear on the forums. I was looking to dip my toes into the world of API sounds, not fully knowing what that meant. I had heard all the descriptors like punchy, forward mids, aggressive, tight, etc., but wanted to try it out for myself. So many great albums were done on API's, right?

I just recently purchased some things on ebay, I got an Audio-Technica at2035 and a Focusrite scarlette solo. I plugged them into my computer, installed all neccesary drivers and the scarlett powers on fine and is fully recognized no problem.
