The MusicXP.net & Opus tweak guides both mention chipset drivers yet when I go to intel.com the only chipset drivers they have are listed as for developers and they say to go the mobo manufactorer.

I am building my new system and am considering removing it from my network. This poses a problem since for my backups.

If I want my backups to run and the pc is not on the network, I will need to run the volume shadow copy & task scheduler services.

If I run these on another box, I will have to start all the networking services.

I found some more XP tweaks online and most of them match up witht he OPUS tweaks. However This one I found really makes me wonder. Is this really true?

My guitar p/ups have suddenly developed a hum now that i'm employing a DAW to record. Even in humbucking mode there's a noticeable buzz. Not sure which component is the culprit but surely it couldn't be my ANUS! Using a CRT monitor though.

Anybody know of a decent phase meter program that can be used for checking .wav files?

It would be nice to be able to play a .wav file from the HD and have a phase program display the results in real time.

BTW - I have one already, but it only works on the soundcard INPUTS.

Thing is, I can't seem to find many places in the UK that have got good memory at good prices...anyone got any suggestions? (I'd like PC2100 cas2). Also is 256MB gonna be enough? Or shall I opt for 512MB?

Dont know if anyone else is having this problem. But l get an error message saying "'One or more sound cards do not support stereo" l searched on cakewalk site and found the below soloution .

but l cant find the (wdm)(microsoft) driver. Any suggestions?

i've tried other places with no joy...so please bear with me if possible..

i have a 733 G4 (silver one) and i cannot get the damn thing to write below 8 X..this is driving me mad.

i'm using Adaptec Jam. i've turned off every extension that i think could get in the way (i'm running OS9.2.2)

any help would be most welcome..
