My current computer system uses Windows ME; the hardware includes MOTU 2408 mkII and MOTU Midi Timepiece AV (parellel port version).

This subject has been discussed before on RO, but I thought I'd bring it up on this new Mac forum.
I don't defrag my Mac. Every now and then, I just reinstall my software and get rid of stuff that I don't use much and can do without. At this time, I also check to make sure that everything is up to date.

I recently downloaded Real PC, which (supposedly) lets you run Windows 95 and 98 on a Mac. I still can't get it to work, after several days of trying. Their tech support is virtually non-existant. Luckily, they offer an easy refund, which I will call for tomorrow.

Okay, so when I see people post commercial-type things for their music in these forums, everybody flips, "AHHHHH he's trying to sell something. BAD!"

Well if this is the case then tell me how Recording.org can help me get my music out there. I will post no links right now of where it is for sale on the web.

On another board recently I noticed Harvey mentioning using a padded "tunnel" for Micing a kick drum from 4-6' away. I've heard of this before, of course, but haven't ever gotten around to trying it.
