Laptop as K2000 Editor
I would like to be able to edit the Kurzweil K2000
via MIDI on my PC laptop...
Anyone know of a modestly-priced (or free?)
Editor Program that would do the trick?
As far as I can tell Kurzweil does
not offer such an item...

Logic & Recycle 2.0
garysjo:
My latest quandary is to get recycle and logic running at the same time. I'm using 4.8. I assign recycle to say outputs 15 & 16 of the hammerfall, then delete those outputs from the logic environment. I get audio inb Logic, then go to recycle and get audio there. The problem is when I go back to Logic, I get no sound. I have to re-boot Logic. Any ideas?

Converters again...
sorry, -I know its kind of an old hat already but I`m still not Shure about these RME converters
are they really cool? (means better or equal to 888)
I`ve got a Rosetta (trough ADAT Bridge PT and Clock of Rosetta) I use on vocals and a lot of other stuff but now a need something for drums (more channels) and I used some 888 (not mine) till now - they are not great but o.k

de-essing: treatment and prevention
Yes, I posted this on the home-rec bbs as well, so apologies if I'm whipping you. Otherwise, I'm looking for advice on stopping the deadly ess-es before they start when tracking vocals. Got a very ess-y lyric, and I hate what De-esser's do to a track.

Lame idea?
I've been toying with the idea of arranging a meet one day for all the Recording.org users in the London area. It would be good to put a face and personality to the people I've communicated with. Hopefully: Jules, Renie, me + anyone else in the area who is interested. What do you think, lame or a good idea?

Hi-Pass Filters
Are hi-pass filters commonly used in mastering?
I ask this because when I put a freq analyzer on many a commercial CD, it sure *looks* like there is.

Mac users: Reason or Phrazer?
Hi, I'm collecting some opinions on software for loop based music... has someone tried Reason and/or Bitheadz Phrazer on a Mac with Cubase or something else? Which one do you like most?
