My dog chewed on a 57 and it still works!

Someone forgot to shut the door to the converted garage where I keep all my stuff and my pitbull (she chews thru really thick bones in minutes) went down and chewed on a 57 for at least 5 minutes and while its all dented and everything it still sounds the same. haha thought it was a funny story, i just wish the headphone amp she got to last month could have held up the same way.

Word Clock?

Hey guys, I was reading the post about the A/D converters and I saw you talking about how can you improve the audio quality if you have a good word clock source. Ok, here is my question. When you have a 001 for example and you use an ADI 8 Pro to record thru lightpipe, you use the ADI 8 Pro as the clock source right (on PT LE, Clock set to external)?

- Asus CUSL2-C Motherboard;
- 60 gig IDE Hard Drive;
- 18 gig Seagate Barracuda (ST318436LW) SCSI Hard Drive for Audio (not connected yet);
- Sony (CRX-160S) SCSI CD-R/RW (not connected yet);

The RULES - MixFest 2001!

MixFest 2001 is about to begin, the files are being transferred by people and mixed. As much as I'd like a total free for all, there are some rules.

1. No replacing or adding instruments. Please use what you have. You are mixers, not producers. The point of this is to hear what people can do with the tracks they have. Having some kind of uniformity makes this easier to evaluate.
