Hi. If I Micing a guitar amp, and I set one mic close and the other back, which creates a tonal blend preferred by the musician, I put a delay on the first mic so that the signals are coming to the board simultaneously to avoid phase issues. I checked the wav files and they are aligned -- as well as using my ears. Sonically, all is well.

Ok, I had another thread up here about problems with an Echo Layla. I've tried everything under the sun, and I just can't get it running, so I'm moving on and will be buying another interface soon. In the meantime, I needed to do some quick recording with the built-in soundcard (a SoundMAX Integrated Audio).

Hi, I'm recording a didgeridoo, tambourine, and clave one-man band (me:-) in a nice sounding reverberant building about 115'long x 50'wide x20'tall and I have a few questions for anyone with the time and expertise. In addition to my spot mics, I'm experimenting with a couple (identical cardiod LDC) ambient mics in different places.

I've been internalizing this for a while, but I just want to clear the air. I had quite a bit of work done on a vintage Marshall a few months ago and I can't get one or two things out of my head. The amp came to me biased for KT88s and it had a PPIMV installed.

Does anyone know of a studio with a MIDI-enabled Yamaha C7 piano? I would like to remotely send MIDI files and have them recorded on a live C7.
