OTB Mixing ZED R16 Issue

First off, I LOVE this desk. Just got it a few days ago, and it is GREAT to get my hands on faders and really nice external EQ again. I can get a better mix in half the time. However, I am having one pesky problem that's driving me crazy and I'm hoping for some help. I am working in Logic Pro 9.1.8 with a ZED R16 (Allen & Heath).

Should I spend so much time pre-mixing?

Hi! Hope you all are fine.

My dilemna is this: I'm working on a project I am very excited about. I have a world-class singer I am collaborating with in a new band. So far it's just me and him.

Anyway, we are pressing ahead with making a CD. I've got the tracks done, and am waiting to schedule the vocal sessions.

2 channel USB3 interface for live backing tracks

...a USB3 interface for live backing tracks. Two-channel will be fine. One channel will go to FOH, other to monitors (with "count-in" added in). Must be MIDI-capable (actual 5-pin preferred). Also want "playback software" that can be accessed by Behringer FCB1010 foot control for direct-access of banks and songs, by stepping on foot switches, AND "Play" and "Stop" functionality.

Hope this is in the right forum - MP3 sound quality help

Newbie here. Apologies if this is in the wrong section or it's been asked a million times.

I sell vinyls for a living but used to make a point of MP3'ing every vinyl before posting it to the customer. I had a terrabyte external and literally had around 2 thousand vinyl rips - yup, you guessed it, the hard drive blew and I lost the lot.
