Hey guys I'm looking for a tool that will help me bring out transient attack in toms (or anything else). I've used transient designers quite a bit and the success rate with those aren't as high as I'd like. I've been doing some digging and I found a video from a YouTube channel I'm subscribed to that has a plugin that seems to do this ok but I can't find where to buy the damn thing.

Hey guys I'm looking for a really comprehensive distortion/mangling plugin . Being able to isolate frequencies and process them differently without duplicating tracks is a must. I've been eyeballing Trash 2 from iZotope but I'm trying to weigh all my options. You guys know of anything like this besides Trash 2? Thanks in advance!

Hi, so I'm thinking of recording a 4 song EP. I need to record guitars, bass, drums and some effects I can take care of with my pc. I've recorded a few demos before but the quality isn't good enough, I've gotten better with my pc but I'm not sure I've got the equipment or DAW fit for the task. I've been using Audition but the program is not really geared towards recording music.

I've been running XP on the DAW I built 10 years ago with nary a problem. Rock solid. I have a $1,000 software licence on it from AudioTX that I will lose if I change any hardware, like the HD or MoBo - so that's why the unit is so old.

Any help would be appreciated :-)

I am trying to figure out how the side-chain portion of the gate works. The "manual" is useless, but I guess you get what you pay for :-O

The problem is that I'm not sure how to "route" a signal to the side-chain input.

i got a few mastered versions of a song I'm going to be releasing on google play, itunes, etc.

I'm looking for feedback on which one is the best mix, and which one i should put up for distribution. i dont have monitor speakers or headphones at the moment, so i mixed the song volume a lil lower than i usually do.

hey all, i just got a call to record an annual concert, destined for dvd. something i have never done before on this scale. it's a rock band w/ numerous guest spot type things.

I have an original 33609/C on the way. It's coming from the UK to me (USA). Most likely, the voltage selector switch will be at 220 (or 240?); I will set that to 120.

The question I have is in regards to the fuses - the main fuse and the secondary. Do I need to change either of those?
