Was on 10.5, and upgraded to 11 today - upgrading went badly - the elicenser has managed to delete my 10.5 licence and failed putting on 11, so now I can't use any version of Cubase and I have jobs to do. I hope it's at Steinberg's end with everyone trying to do the same thing, but at the moment, I'm sunk!

I'm asking the aged brains here - I bought an old AKG 451 E off ebay - clearly liquidated stock from a failed audio company - but mainly because 1. It was black and all mine are silver, and 2. it had the metal slide on basket windshield. From the pictures it had a CK1 cardioid capsule.

I would like some input on how best to cable all my synths (5) to the Akai DR8 hardware recorder.

Tascam has a new line of entry level interfaces with drivers that have buffers as small as 4 samples (on Windows)! This is over a USB-C connection.

I simply couldn't see the point of TikTok - stupid videos that last up to a minute and a half or so. Something for the teens, I thought.

I live near an industrial property that produces noise. In particular, there is the sound of a piece of industrial machinery at around 240Hz, and the back-up warning beeping of construction vehicles.

hi, thanks for reading. .ive had a very odd fault on two parts of these speakers, my son was getting shocks when he touched his MacBook Air or mic or his audio interface, when he was at the same time touching his guitar which was plugged into his amp, his setup is quite straight forward. cr5x monitors.
