Too much bass in DI guitar signal
Hello,
so I've just gotten into recording and for some reason my DI guitars are always waaay too bassy with a complete lack of presence. Is there a way to change the DI EQ without always having to do it afterwards?

Pest Control with ultrasound
Greetings All,
I was wondering if anyone could assist me, you see, my house often gets infected by all types of bugs and insects, so we have decided to try a new non chemical method for our property. I researched ultrasonic repellers and thought it would be worth a try.

Piano mics?
I'm using a pair of DPA 4099's to mic my current grand piano, and they've have been ok, but I have a Steinway D coming in soon. Since I'll already likely be renting some different vocal mics to compare, I'm wondering if folks here have any mic recommendations for a very very large and resonant sound. Budget is probably 3,000 or less for the pair.

Nice to see a finished project start to be shown off
The build I did during the Covid shutdown has just started to be advertised and is earning some money, so I thought I'd share the picture of it they're using. The wall wasn't blue when I left!
Nostalgic look back. Me on Drums.
Morning from sunny West Yorkshire UK,
I am not a drummer, I do play drums though. I picked it up when I was 41. I practiced many hours a day initially on a Roland TD10 kit then this wonderful Gretsch Renown Maple kit with A Zildjian Pro cymbals. Sadly the Gretsch were sacrificed in the many moves my family and I have made.

Ultra Mega SuperCardioid Mic?
I'm working on stuff that where I'm shooting "live" performances of just piano, vocals, mic. I use the ADP piano mics. Thing is, I'm about to receive a fantastic Steinway C&A Model D with the sound of 10 Ferraris. I'm trying to figure out a good vocal mic that will not pick up a lot of the piano. I've been singing real close into an AKG 214 but that's not going to cut it.

Xpand2
Hey guys,
I just downloaded Xpand 2 from a website called ADSR. Spent $14.99. It didn't work with my OS on iMac.
Where would be the best place to download this VST?
Thank you!

Effective windshields for AKG 451/CK1
I've got a pair of AKG 451s and they're great for music but they're pretty prone to pop and blasting from voices in close. I need to use one on a singer shortly for visual reasons really - extension tube and it looks great - BUT this singer I know is a bit prone to moving in a bit close.
