How to add drum beats to Audacity?
Forums
I'm a professional https://sikksounds… drum beat maker and I use Audacity to record my guitar compositions. I'd like to add drums to the mix for some very simple demos. I'm not sure how I'd go about doing this.

Partner for recording studio in UK
Forums
I hope this is allowed. I have a successful recording studio based in the midlands UK. I am looking for a business partner. Ideally a producer/ Engineer/ or songwriter who can bring in clients and make more use of the current set up. This would involve some form of investment (financial or asset).

Cassettes are not dead for some things in the UK
Forums
I was chatting to my son about the British really popular Police drama Line of Duty. I was interested as he's a Police Officer here. I expected him to moan about Police process mistakes, or the things they do, but no - his complaint was the interview recorders which are the latest type - solid state and when you hit the button they make the long loud tone, before they start recording.

How are people dealing with COVID-19?
Forums
My mastering and restoration business is way down and has been for the past 6 months. We are still getting in some mastering and some restoration work but nothing like it was last year at the same time. I keep reading that there is a lot of music being produced by people who are staying home but I don't see much of it coming through here. Just thought I would ask how others are doing?
