Fake social media content coming on big time.

This is where our fake world is headed. By 2030 90% of social media content will be created by fake users. the other 10% might be a real person.  I suspect it won't take that long either.

This link (amongst many others I get) was just sent to me: https://www.jasper… This link was particularly interesting which is about to put me over the deep end.

How do you all capture the sound of an electric guitar?

Plugins? Mic’d amp? I use a plugin called Bias Amp 2 for all amp and cab simulations which I quite like (although seems to sound nicer with my tele than Les Paul). I’ve also heard really good things about a plugin called amplitube but don’t have any experience with it.. What do other people use?

How to remove spoken words in background of music

Hi friends, there are some spoken words in the background of this song that are super hard to hear, and so I am on a quest to remove the noise so I can hear what is being said.  It should be said that currently, there is an entire fan base of this song who all don't know, so it will be a historic find when completed.  I have pretty much 0 audio engineering experience other than extremely small

Submitting recordings for critique as well as listening to others music.

Hi all, I am not sure if this is the appropriate thing to do. I didn't see any obvious rules or anything, so I just thought I would introduce myself and ask how this Forum works. I am interested in submitting recordings for critique as well as listening to others music. I really want to learn from others and work on my own music.

Synclavier Regen

I remember lusting over the original Synclavier around 1979/80 but couldn’t afford it’s unreal 100 grand price tag.  Instead, I settled for the substantially less (10 grand) Emu Emulator II, ordered the vinyl demo of the Synclavier II and sampled it.  Worked out well and that began my world as a techno pop artist.

Stereo recording from the center of a circle?

I’d like to make recordings of our group of musicians who play irish music. We get together every week and sit in a circle, in a private space (not a bar), and play Irish tunes. I’d like to avoid interfering with the group dynamic in our small circle and not be intrusive, so here’s my thought, let me know what you think.

Thinking of switching to Reaper

I'm strongly considering switching to Reaper as my main daw. While I've dabbled with samplitude and do like it, I'm finding there's some things I don't like. It's upgrade price is rather steep and seems to rarely include major updates. It's hybrid audio engine is a bit limited relative to others if I'm understanding their operation correctly.
