Eliminating room sound from a field recording

Forums

I'm using a field recording of speech that was recorded in a very bright lively room. There's a lot of this room sound on the recording and wonder if anyone has some recommendations for getting rid of some of that room sound and retaining a pretty "natural" sound. In other words, I'm trying to make a very "roomy" recording sound deader.
Thanks.

How do you add PIctures and track names on AUdio CD

Forums

Hey guys whts up. i wanna know how do you add album picture and track names in Audio CDs...like if i play an audio CD in my computer it should say track name and also gives the album cover like it does in mp3s played on Windows media player or any other player. I normally use CD Architect to burn my projects. .any suggestions...

What do I need to know about verifying burned CDs?

Forums

I have CD Architect and it does what it does quite nicely except it's like a ten-year-old product; it doesn't do some things that you'd think any product would just be expected to do. Like verifying a burn. Or burning an image file into a nonvolatile location in your pc so you can take it and burn it onto physical CDs with Nero which DOES have a verify-after-burn function.

Possible to improve sound quality for on-hold audio (G.711)

Forums

We produce message-on-hold programs featuring music and voice-overs. We used to always use external players that connected to phone systems using an RCA connector, and they sound great. Now, several of our new clients would like to use their phone system's built-in on-hold capabilities.
