ok so we have made a documentary, and mixed the audio track, which includes speech, and a lot of (already mastered) music. now our problem is, this sounds fine, but we have a volume issue, there are no visible peaks, but apparant audio clips when playing on a tv, and also our main volume(its peaking at -0.2 and its rms is - 8) does not compare to a standard dvd/tv show.

Im not part of a pro studio or anything. Im just trying to get the best recording i can out of my home setup.

So this little irritation of mine is when i record and get a decent mix, but you play another studio qualiity song and the volume levels are way up its just really in your face compared to mine.

I'm looking for a used Neve 1073 and a used universal audio 1176 compressor. if you can get me a rosetta used or at a gteat price I'm ready to buy..chad email me helleva@tmail.com

I've been reading online and listening to audio examples of mastered song. Mastering to me has always been "just boost your volume and you'll be OK". But as I hear more examples, song seemed to be transformed from great to excellent. I've known to bounce to disk in pro-tools then make a new session and import that bounce to start mastering.

My CD was tracked at home (Pro Tools LE) then mixed & mastered at a local commercial facility.

What is the performance of MC2 audio 1250 power amp compare with chord SPA 1424 - Mono and FM acoustics FM 811 MKII power amp?

Is it suitable for mastering studio ?

Whelp I used it for the first to help a phone recording for a radio station.

Man the parametric eq was fun to play with in real time and awesome. There's so much in that program it'll take years to learn it.

Fun tho and I see why people like to do it. Wasn't sure i would.
