I just bought a strange little mic on ebay, called AEG D77 stereo microphone. Does anyone know this mic and tell me how old it is and anything else worth mentioning. I search the net, but have been unable to find any information on it.

Extreme Mic Techniques
Forums
I am a fellow Audio geek, and I have picked this forum as a main resource. I don't have lots of experience in the field, but there are many people here that do. I am curious to know of some stories about interesting, bizarre, cool and extreme mic techniques that pros like yourself have accidently stumbled upon (I.E.- that article someone posted about using a speaker as a microphone).

handheld mic for baritone
Forums
Hey guys. Does anybody know of a good handheld mic for a classical bass/baritone to use. I would buy a Neumann KMS105 ideally, but it's not in the budget, so I'm thinking a Shure Beta 87. Any suggestions?

Better Live Vocal Mics
Forums
Anyone care to offer first-hand advice about buying better-than-average vocal mics for live performance? I am a part-time audio engineer for a small church. We could use some new mics. I currently use the SM58 and the Electro-Voice N/D767a. I have heard the beta 87a and talked to engineers who like it a lot. I have also used the AKG c1000 for some quick vocal recording.
