Need input on a song I mixed
Forums
Hello recording community, I'm new to Recording.org and hoping to learn a lot here. I have done a lot of voice overs over the years. Putting vocals to music where the music was already mixed. Now I just started mixing multitracks and done a few which I'm happy with. This one is my first post that I'm wanting to get reviews from. It's 27 tracks. It maybe a little much for my first one.

Metal with a More Organic "Live" Vibe
Forums
I've always liked my metal to sound like if you stuck a knife in it, it would bleed. Can't stand metal mixes that sound unnaturally produced and "perfect", organic can sound good too :)

Panning guitar
Forums
How do you pan a single guitar left and right in a mix?
I have the guitar track recorded onto an eight track reel to reel.
I use a Studiomaster 16 channel mixer, with two more smaller mixers.
Thanks.

Cubase 5 -- Best plugin /tweak for CROWD effect?
Forums
In recording vocals, I'm looking to make a crowd effect such as the 'whoa' in Black Rob's song 'Whoa'. What plugins/tweaks/steps can I play with to realise this?
Something like like short file I uploaded for this purpose ...
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Recall and automation in a hybrid system.
Forums
I use logic and in a perfect world I know exactly how I want to recall mixes. I would be able to freeze tracks with an I/o plug on it and I'd be done. However logic doesn't do this.
I can't record on aux tracks so that rules making stems when I route tracks to buses. Bottom line you can only bounce 2 mono or 1 stereo track at a time when bouncing in real time.

Mastering sets in Ableton?
Forums
Hi all,
First and foremost, apologies for this being my first post on here! Though I'm not new to mixing on decks, I am quite new on the mastering and production side of things - so if it shows (and it probably will!), then please have patience. I really do appreciate all the help I can get with regards to this
