so i use a Avid mini mxbox interface with a MXL 990 condenser microphone to record onto pro tools 8 with m-audio studio pro 3 speakers. Now i get good sound from this set up when i'm done creating a track. but i want to take the mixing and sound quality to the next level. so i was wondering what i should upgrade to get better sound.

HELLO guy. I'm trying to get 8 more preamps to my set up which is a diggi 002 with already 4 preams added (api 3124).I will love to get the Focusrite 828 so I can have 12 good preamps ( I dont want to use the preamp from the diggi couse sound bad).

Hi everyone,
So I have a few mix's finalized that sound great when I listen to them in Cubase but then when I render them, they gain noise, and loose definition.
What's happening that's making them sound different from how they sound in Cubase?

right now i run Sony acid pro 6... i have an art pro mpa 2 tube preamp and a pro vla 2 tube compressor... rhode nt1a.. and a PreSonus audiobox interface.. I'm looking to get a couple more things to finish my recording studio for now... a a/d converter and a vocal effects processor which i already have an idea for one... a TC Helicon. what route should i go for an adc...

Is it possible in any DAW? mine are DP7, reaper, PT7. As far as a i know i can't do this, and just shut the click off when sections like that come up, and let the band handle the timing. I'd be great if there was a function or work-around that i don't know about, so we could define the slowdown if needed.
