Thoughts On Yamaha 02R96
Forums
I've been thinking of spending a lot of bread on a hard disk recorder...On top of a bunch of outboard gear.
Maybe this will be the all in one piece I've been looking for.
Anyone with experience using the piece?
Does it sync with pro tools?
Is it a standalone recorder? I'd like to record instruments IN the box.. Then sync it with pro tools to track vocals.

Help assigning controller links to FL Studio 9
Forums
I just bought an M-Audio X-Session Pro and I can link knobs and sliders, but I want to link the play button on the controller to the play button in Fruity Loops, but instead all the buttons on the X-Session pro are used to hit keys on the Virtual Piano, but I have a separate midi piano for that. Thanks
Carvin DCM150 power amp overheating
Forums
Hi:
I found out there an old Carvin DCM150 power amp. I tried it and I was surprised how good its sound is! But the heat that the unit reaches, surprised me also!
Anyone out there remember/know something about this units concerning heat?
Thanks in advance!

Newbie with some speaker questions
Forums
I recently purchased an inexpensive little set up to practice and do some recording in a small room in my home. I have a Pyle Pro PTA1000 dual channel stereo amp. Each channel runs to one Pyle Pro padh1269 600WATT speaker in a standard single left and right configuration. The speakers are hooked up to the amp via a big gauge Speakon cable.

I mean... like does it really make sense?
What's the real point in spending 5k on an interface.. when theres just going to be a "better" one later?
I mean how clear can audio REALLY get? Or is it about having the most options?
What is it that they found a way to make that much less hiss on the audio track? its MORE crystal clear?
