I have a Steinberg MI4 interface that i have used with Cubase. I would like to use pro tools (I still like Cubase its just that many people i work with use Pro Tools)

Can I use the Steinberg MI4 interface with Pro Tools LE? (to save me having to buy an M-box etc) :-?

Hi, I'm having some trouble installing the Reverb plugin Ambience by Magnus on my Mac running Locig Express 8. I drag the.component file into /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder but it does not show up in Logic's Audio Units section in the DAW itself. Can someone help me with this? Also, are there any better free/inexpensive reverb plugins that are any good?

Just to preface this post, I'm a self-taught recordist of about 7 or 8 months, so I only know what I can learn from the internet (hence my presence on a forum lol). Also, I tried my best to find the answer to my question in other threads before posting this one, but I didn't see it, so if it's out there in this forum, I apologize for taking up space with a repeat.

Hello there . I have an electro harmonix 2ube tube preamp and I want to use it to record guitars in pro tools. I also have a Focusrite isa one digitally connected to a Digi 003 . My question is: should I use the line input or the DI Input on the Isa coming out of the lpb 2ube pedal?

Just came across this vst http://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=40 great electric piano emulation, this is physical modelling and coded in c+ . Never had the chance to try a real wurlitzer but have played a rhodes and this thing stacks up really well 8-)

Yesterday in friends studio i tried Waves C-1 compressor. I know thers better vst's but that is commercial vst and i compared it to some freeones.

I compress kick and snare with it and than used same settings with free Kjaerhus classic compressor and Endorphin.
