1176 plug in?
Forums
Is there an 1176 plugin that works in either Sound Forge (for PC) or Bias Peak (for Mac)? I love the Bombfactory 1176 plugin that Digidesign owns but that seems to only work in Protools.

finally got some nice stuff
Forums
i got the new api a2d and the spec eq, now i got this for kick and snare and guitar and vox overdubs, the spec eq is going to be mainly for kick on tracking and mixing, what i'd like to get next is a compressor for tracking, for mostly kick, and vox, i mostly do metal/rock bands and i need an upfront tight kick, and on vox need to keep it leval so that they don't clip my a/d.

Monster Pro MP 3500, is it worth the $ ?
Forums
Hi,
I've learned from other forum members about the hi-end power conditioners like Equi-tech and SurgeX and all that. but i'm going for something cheaper, like the Monster MP 3500. does anyone own/have any experiences with it? the features look good, but then again i'm no electronics expert.
thanks

Removing Reverb from Concert Recording
Forums
I need some advice on how to get rid of the reverberation from a recording of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons that I made in a large stone church last month. The concert producers had a narrator read the sonnets associated with the concerti while a violinist standing behind the narrator played snippets of the solo part.

entering the world of mixing! advice?
Forums
I plan on doing some recording, including vocals. So far, I have a GT-PRO and PODXT which I could record direct into my computer for bass and guitar, so that's solved.
I currently have a condenser mic that I borrowed from a friend that needs to be run on phantom power. AKG C4000B to be specific (it's all that he has)

Help Tascam m3700
Forums
I wonder if anyone can help me. I have an m3700 desk that was working fine. I haven't powered it up for a couple of weeks until tonight, and I can't get any output from it. It makes no diference if I come from the tape or inputs on the desk. I get nothing on either the individual channels or the VU meters.
The lCD display reads "mutes and faders" as usual with no error message.

which way should i go, api question
Forums
ok, i've saved up 2800 bucks to spend, and i've been wanting an api ever since i've heard about them, but now i don't know which to choose from,
-the 6 slot lunch box and get two 512c and have room for more, and or get other pres in the future like the purple preamp etc.
-get the 3124+ and have 4 sweet ass preamps to cover kick snare and ohs, and most expensive option,
