is it technically possible to chain up a couple of digi002s so that pro tools can get 16 ins...

I just bought an M-Audio Ozone USB Audio/Midi Mobile Workstation and need to run it through Acid Pro 4 and Cubase. I am thoroughly confused by the manual on the particulars of setting the knobs and data to begin recording through this machine (I'm pretty new at this). Anyone have any online tutorials on this or be willing to talk me through on IM?

just curious if anyone using dp 4 would have any insight, I'm currently looking to set up a mobile recording rig that would contain the following:

Focusrite octapre mic preamp's x3
MOTU 24i/o
powermac 2.0 or 2.5 dp with 3 gigs of ram
digital performer 4

Does anyone know of good online places/programs to download professional studio sounding hard house, hard nrg, hard trance, techno kickdums?
kickdrums from my gear, friends and programs i'm using aren't fat enough anymore.. i'm using effects and eqs to try to fatten it up and i know there are better samples out there..

I need to find a mixing/mastering studio to work with for my bands album. We are using pro tools and or logic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Well I got my Msp5a's. I remixed a song that I had mixed before in headphones, and the difference was night and day. I can honestly say that this 1 piece of gear has done more for my mixes than anything I have ever bought. I could not be happier and thanks to everyone that recommended these monitors. I never knew all that I was missing!

Well its not that slow, but I want somthing that is faily light and powerful. Its for my laptop. Cerleron 1.06ghz 256ram. I will be using a PreSonus firewire interface for recording.

Which software would you recommend to be the lightest on the system when it comes to tracking? But still with some decent features.

I was thinking of upgrading my Behringer AD8000 for an Octopre or Digimax then i got thinking, why not get a two channel high-end mic preamp-amp instead of 8 low/medium end and just keep the Behringher for when i really need to record more than 8 tracks simultaneously which is very rare apart from recording drums...anyway, after a lot of research it looks like it's going to be the Vintech dual

i have managed to build a simple "full wave rectifier" using four diodes.

but, could i get a better sounding one using a vacum tube?
