Audio or Track Cancelling Software

Hi,

Does anybody know on an easy to use audio track canceling software for Windows XP? I want to be able to to take and CDA, WMA, or MP3 and cancel out Vocals, Lead Guitars and leave in just the Rythm Guitar, Bass and Drums and then eventually cancel out the drum tracks to play my own drumming in its place. I intend to use this as a tool for practicing my drumming.

Does anyone know of any really good Logic Audio books for

Does anyone know of any really good Logic Audio books for Logic Audio 5.5 windows. I was using Cubase before, I started using Logic and everything works so much better especially plugins i dont know why, One of the problems I am having is just setting up my Roland synth recording to a track and playing back.

Which Reverb sounds better?

Hi all

My project studio is based around a DAW including a PC running Cubase. While mixing, I prefer a vocal plate as a reverb for vocal tracks. Therefor, I have two possibilities: Lexicon MPX 550 (outboard, hardware) or Waves Rverb ( plugin , software)

Which one would you prefer, and why? (only from a quality aspect, latency and CPU power is not an issue)

mixdown and programs

Hi! I'm just finishing the mix of a song and it's the first time I'm doing it with a console such as the one in Cakewalk 8. that's in fact the one I'm using. I've been told that what I have to do is to work all effects and volumes with the console, record that, and when it's done, to save all that to a mixdown. Cakewalk saves all that to TWO tracks (one for left and one for right).
