What's some of your opinions about the quality of some pluginsthat come packaged with your host software. The reason I asked is because I have tried a few of these and was surprised when I'd A/B them for use on a audio track. The quality of the pluginsthat came with the program was less appealing than the ones that I paid for. Has this been the case with some other programs?

Looking to upgrade in the outboard FX category and have been considering these units. I often need the ability to run multiple FX on different aux buses at the same time and thus need multiple units. I've got 2U (and only 2U) worth of rack space to fill and either of these options would do the trick in terms of space.

I've just added a second set of monitors to my studio. I'm currently taking
the main out from my board into my original powered monitors (Mackie
HR824's). I need to send the main outs of my board to some type of balanced
A/B switch box so I can select between the Mackies and the other
amp/speakers. Does anybody make a balanced, stereo a/b switch? Preferably

My studio setup is 002 PT le6.2,G4 dual1.42g aswell as having a Powerbook G4 667 and mbox as a portable location rig. Some of my clients use Logic as there main plateform and I was wanting to be able to bring there projects into Pro Tools and vis versa. Is there an easy way of doing this?.Even if it is just the multitracked audio files.Any suggestions?

If any of you out there is using one of these you probably have noticed the loud fan noise that comes with it.

I would like to mimize this noise or eliminate it completely if that is even an option.
