thanks for your patience, i'm using 1.5.2 and I if record SYSEX than try plying it, it works fine,
here's what i do step by step
-create a project
-check midi filtering settings (remove sysex flags)
-record sysex dump from my virus ;)
on one of midi track
-then change setting on virus
-play track from the beginning

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. .I usually record live instruments, guitar and bass etc. . but decided to try my hand at electronic music, all software synths and drum machines etc..
But I came to a problem, I need help with the compression af the tracks,

I have always recorded using good guitars and amps (and players when we get them :roll: )so much so that we have a fairly nice collection of both here at the studio. But I have also been reading that the PT guys really like the Amp Farm. Assuming that the Pod is some what the same I am curious as to what everyone thinks about the Pod and what are some of the things you do with it.

Which one of these is better?

Would anyone like to venture a guess on the fair value for the above mentioned machine? assuming its in excelent condition...new guides/bearings/lifters heads were freshly relaped 55% left...

I have several 100mm Alps faders that are wobbling side-to-side. They still travel smoothly and have no apparent signal degradation.

I was wondering if anyone knows why this is happening, if they can be fixed or should I go ahead and replace them, and if so, where can I purchase them?

The manufacturer will remain nameless, because even though they committed error after error, they were extremely apologetic and pleasant on the phone and eventually resolved the situation completely.

I've just installed my SECOND pro-sound card, (the first being a ZA2 which does killer sample rate conversions, but was only 16 bit).
I just added a Lex Core 2 card since it claims to be 24 bit. The problem is this; the software included looks and smells 16 bit out to me (Cool Edit). Am I missing something?
So again, I ask...is there a 24 bit 2 track software ?

I'm using Nuendo on WinMe. When I put a chnnel into ready record and the channel switches to input the cuemix fader and pan move around by themselves which means I cant use direct monitoring.
Anyone else had this problem & how is it fixed.
