Hey there!

So, we are finally getting things all setup...we've got a 24 channel multi-track recorder and are going to run a split snake to live mix and recording/broadcast mix.

I,m thinking of using a trigger pad and macbook laptop, and I,II need to connect the laptop to the PA. The only audio out is a 3.5mm stereo socket on the macbook(I havent actually bought the laptop yet, but I think that is the case) What is the best way to connect to the stage box? I will need to use two channels on the stage box for stereo mix.

Here's my problem.

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew how to import multiple sessions into 1 single session in pro tools.

I have 4 songs made up and i am trying to take songs 2 through 3 and tac them onto the end of song 1 so it can be easier for me to compair all of the tracks together. any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

is it possible to use a midi controller(keyboard) with 2 instrument tracks simultaneously in pro tools?
or maybe even more... 2 midi controller each connected to an own instrument track(also simultaneously)?
realy need to know this and would appreciate every advice!

hey everyone i just got a Pro Tools mbox pro 2 rig and Pro Tools isn't picking up the Yamaha keyboard I'm trying to connect to it. This is the first rig that ive tried to set up myself so i dont know too many alternatives. Any suggestions?

Hi . . looking for some easy to digest advice here.

I'm working with a bunch of fellow sports fans to produce a monthly DVD of game highlights mixed with interviews, fun features, etc. We have plenty of consumer level digital cameras, all of which do a perfectly decent job for us but we are struggling on sound . . in particular when recording on the spot interviews with fans.

Who likes/dislikes what brands of the small 1bit recorders? Are the recordings much better than the 24/96 recorders? Do they really record the most "pristine" sound possible of acoustic instruments? Any problems inputing to software for proccessing?-What's next?
