OK, I am looking into syncing my DM1000 with a new DAW and can't decide whether to purchase the MY16mLan card and be done with it, or purchase the MY16AT ADAT card as well as an additional RME 9652 ADAT card for my computer and go that route. It seems ADAT is a safer, more stable, and more of an industry standard type route, but is it worth the extra $600?

On the last two CDs I've done, I was asked to put packaging artwork together. At the end of the process I write up a few credits to add, get the artists' approval on the design, and hit the presses.

Once it's printed and I think things through a little more I think of a few folks who really should have been on the credits. I hate that!

I run PT LE and am looking at buying some instrument sample files over the net.

As I have always recorded mainly acoustic instrumet, and have no experience to speak of with samples, could anyone give me a little info on using these .wav and acid samples, particularly with PT LE.

Any help would be very much appreciated. 8-)

Are there any Subs out there that will power my passive NS10s? Any recommendations? Or am I better off going for a passive Sub and amp?

Hows it going I'm new to the site an would like to first off by saying from the looks of the topics here this seems to be a really resouceful an over all helpful site.. after reading my problem please let me know if you have any suggestions... ive been recording for a few yrs now an this is mostly the most fustrating thing ive come across.

I'm actually a very intelligent person, but this whole DAW thing is just kicking my butt. I'm having a ton of problems just getting a simple, functional DAW going, and it's driving me nuts.

I'm using a Line6 POD v.2 to record. I'm lining right into my input jack on my computer. If i purchased a firebox and ran the POD through that, would it sound better? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
