hello everyone. I run Pro Tools LE w/ a digi 002 rack on a Mac Pro desktop (Intel). I do a lot of guitar recording but due to a need to keep the noise down (unfortunately) I am forced to record directly into PT. What I do now is run the guitar through a Line 6 Pod XT floor pedal. then run it into a channel on the 002 rack.

I have never used Coole Edit Pro, only Pro Tools. I was wondering if using Cool Edit Pro for Voice Over work was decent/possible. Also does CE have any good compression, EQ, etc.? I just need to set up a basic VO studio. Thanks

I've just recently got the inspire 1394 firewire i/o. and when i record something on it, theres a lot of clicks or pops, not sure which it really is, but it just doesn't sound smooth. If anyone has any ideas of how i can fix this let me know. Thanks

I thought it might be useful to post a thread on my last session recording my Hammond/Leslie setup.
Because I can't work my analog studio and record myself on my Hammond at the same time I called in a pal of mine who runs his own studio with an Ampex 16 track. He is also a great Hammond player with a B3 and M100.

I've just started in my own house recording - my friend and I are emcees and we wanted to stop relying on others. Anyway, I have an AKG Perception 200 and Pro Tools LE 7.3.1 with MBOX mini. For the first week or two, it worked great; we got two tracks done for him and a track done for myself, and I worked on recording other stuff as well.

hey everyone. wow, its been a while since i posted in here but here it goes. I was just wondering if there is any way to turn audio into midi. I would want to do this because i have a sample CD of amazing drum sounds and would like to put the CD in the mac and create midi files out of the clips so that i can go into my Pro Tools LE and use the midi grid but with my samples. Can i do this.

I just bought a firepod and I'm having some trouble with it. Can I use it as a mixer as well? I hooked up the speakers to the Firepod and the volume was real low. Is it mixed from the computer then sent to the speakers?

I want to use Pro Tools for recording... I have been looking into he Mbox 2 Pro and he Digi 003 Rack. I'm not really sure what the differences are the specs look the same... Could somebody help me out ?
