Hey I've been endlessly searching for quite some time thru a plethora of interfaces and converters and various connection options. I'm building a decent daw PC so I'm limited in PCIe slots and need to be judicious to make sure I've got my bases covered. I'm making the jump to 384k next year when mytek releases its updated version of the 8x192. This will be my 'flagship' converter.

My converter and i/o is the Mbox Pro (3rd generation in case it matters)

It uses the preamp if it's switched to Mic. It does not apply the preamp section with line inputs.

I actually snared one second hand in excellent condition with the latest firmware and the Avid Eleven Extension Pack for less than half what they sell new here. :D

So far I have ran my '98 USA HSS Strat & my '98 Les Paul Flametop through it...I must say its sounds impressive :D

Here is my old bus from the 70's and 80's Rock & Roll days. Its a 1974 Chev Bluebird 54 passenger. I bought it from the school spare bus yard. It was actually the same bus that a few band members traveled on when they were little kids, prior to meeting me and forming a band. Small world.

So I had just recently bought this microphone and when I connected it I started recording some test audio. But when I played back the audio I can hear some weird noise. I don't know if its because something is interfering or if I hooked it up wrong. Can anyone help me?
