Time to buy a NAS ?
Hi gang.
One of the things we often neglect is to backup our files and projects.
With the holidays specials, I found many NAS to be on rebate.
My favorites are the QNAP !
I found one on Newegg.ca (Canadian site) at half the price.

Using Phantom Power through a Yamaha Q2031 analog EQ
Hello, I need help figuring out if I can do something or not without breaking anything. I got my nephew an M-Audio AIR 192|4 audio interface that came with a condenser mic that requires phantom power to work. He uses to produce some decent stuff, and I'm getting him a Yamaha Q2031 31 band analog EQ to use with it this year.
Sound enhancing
Looking for someone who can enhance voices and take out background noise.I have some videos from my home camera and need the voices enhanced so it can be heard I know some of you are thinking why and that it’s illegal but everyone in the recordings are aware of the camera and that it records so none of it was done without them knowing.

Free Convolution Reverb with Lexicon 480
I have a limiter plug from this company, and came across this free convolution verb they offer. Seemed reasonable from the YouTube and useful for stylized 80s sounds from the vintage section. I wonder if any of the other ir's are useful. Im gonna give it a try. I like it has zero latency mode. Check it out if your interested.

Issues Recording Voice using Audacity and/or Abelton Live Lite
How's it going, fellas?
For my vocal sessions (usually speaking) I'm currently using a Focusrite 2i2 and a Boya PVM-1000 mic. The interface is plugged directly into my laptop.

Having been on hiatus for a few years now, one thing ive been trying to suss out before re-entry, is billing.
Mainly on the consultation side, which i plan to focus on, since i enjoy it, and it works with my busted up back much better.
