Ok, so my bassist and I starting recording today for our next CD. We're doing it at home using my PC and my Delta 1010. We're using 8 inputs, Bass/Snare/Tom1,2,3/Hihat/Overheads 1/2.

I had a dual 1.25 and a 002 but came across a Quicksilver and a 001 from a friend of mine for close to nothing because he was upgrading.

Looking to get some compression - mainly for live work, although something that could be used when tracking would be nice. Had my eyes on the PreSonus ACP88, but not sure I need 8 channels and I've heard mixed reports about its sound.

Hello, I want to get a little operational recording studio up and running just to start layin down some tracks. I didnt want to spread these questions all over the forum so if somebody can Please help me I would be very greatful. Right now I have:

I'm thinking of buying a digi 002R to go with my new G5 and Logic Pro. Do Digi 002R and Logic get along ok? What's the performance like? Crash much?

Hi! I just bought a used Blue Bottle mic. And while it sounds amazing, I've just screwed it directly onto a mic stand and I get all the nasty rumble associated with not having a shock mount. The manual makes no mention of a shock mount being available. Do any of you have experience with this?

I've encountered a bit of discussion regarding the potential benefits of using the same pre-amp for the majority of the tracks in a recording as a means of providing "glue" to the recording and gaining a cohesive sound.
