I have been looking for any feedback on these systems. I ead about them on the Digidesign website. I am thinking about going from Apple to the PC and found the M6-R to be quite interesting. Well the thing is I've been recording this CD with my band that we "guess" will have the sonic quality to be ready for the market, or at least to sound like a really good quality demo ( hehe), anyway, we are from a small country so and our goal is to get a deal abroad, our music is prog-rock with lots of electronic elements, so it's not what you would call mainstream.

Due to space constaints I cannot multitrack to my computer. I'm currently recording basic tracks on an old Alesis ADAT blackface in one room and then transferring them to my computer via lightpipe. I've successfully made the transfers but found when I go to open up the files it can take up to five minutes to load.

My problem is I am looking for a way to hook up my headphones to my audiophile 2496 sound card and produce/mix music at late nites, when I won't disturb anyone with noise.

My friend suggest that I should buy a cheap mixer, like Eurorack UB502 and run the audiophile 2496 soundcard to the small mixer, which has enough connections for my monitors and headphone.

Does anyone know of a good drum machine and sequencer for piano and guitar. Hardware that is. I have a EMU 0404 card and software installed in my computer, but I keep getting crashes, so I am having a hard time trying to transfer CD's from my DAW recorder, 8 track, to my computer software, which is a Cubase software program and a Patchmix mixer.

Any experience with the Audio-Technica 3035 for sax recording?

me and my student friends will be making a movie, however we are under budget, so we cannot afford expensive microphones. We want to try and get the stereo effects, say a car rushing by the camera from left to right. However it is not noticable on a mini dv camera.

i have a 64 bit system and windows xp, i think its time to upgrade to windows 64 but i cant find any 64bit firewire drivers for my MOTU 828mk2 so i wanted to ask if anybody here uses an MOTU 828mk2 firewire and Windows Xp X64 bit and do you use the 32bit drivers or if you have found 64bit drivers.
