Ok guys i have a big dillema. I get a huge amount of delay from my audio board to my audio card for some reason. Its a 2 month old M-Audio card, and its not the audio board because i have tried other sound cards. I have the problem before but it was minor and i think it fixed itself. could it be the cables going from my audio card to the board are 20 feet long?

Being new to the forum Im not sure if this issue has been touched.

I'm an amateur studio engineer in the process of buildig my own home studio. I just purchased a second hand Omega Studio. It looks to be in good condition. It came with a driver CD and a software CD. I'm working temporarily with a compaq presario notebook. The sound chip is ConexantAMC audio.

When fading in or out whether it be through applause or into the first note of a piece or even out of a reverb tail, do you often deal with complex fades?
