I am not sure if anyone can help but i have been having a major problem running Cubase. When I open the application I can use it for about 2 minutes, but then my computer locks up. I am using sound blaster audigy platinum. I have read that this may not be the sound card to use for cubase. I am at my wits end. I tried everything I can think of. Can anyone help.

so i upgraded to adobe audition from cool edit. i usually use Pro Tools le to record my acappella vocal bands i sing with. but i thought i should get a lightweight prgram like (cool edit/audition) to make very raw tracks of me singing on many tracks so that my guys would have a basic idea of vocal arrangements so i wouldnt have to write them out on sheet music.

Have anybody tried this console (I mean TL Audio M4 valve)?
We're going to buy a new desk to our studio to have a possibility to work in analog domain (Pro Tools->Apogee AD/DA->?Desk) and this console perfectly fits our budget (around $10k for a desk).

When using The Brick as an instrument DI for a re-amp situation later on, would you say it colours the signal too much to be usefull?

What is a good price for a 4 x 12 cabinet? I hear the celestions are still what most guys want, as far as speakers. But the cabinet I was looking at is a Hughes & Kettner cc 412 wa, it sells new for $1300. It that way too much? Or is this a case of, you get what you pay for?

I was recording an acoustic guitar with my ungainly XY rig in front of it and there were pretty major changes in volume as he moved even a bit. I threatened to nail him to the floor but that didn't help.:x:x:x
