So i got my new M-Audio radium midi controller keyboard...

Dear all, I need advice for these 2 mixer for recording.
Which one have good Sound Quality for recordin to my computer(RME HDSP9632) Cuz I don't wanna buy a mixer just for monitorin.

I've have a set of JBL S38II Studio Monitors, how well do these work for mixing monitors? I'm new to home recording, I bought the JBLs awhile back for my home stereo, thinking I might also make use of them for home recording. They are suppose to have a flat response, they do sound great with my stereo.

I am using a Eurorack 1202 and EditPro 2. I can record drums (or whatever) on one track, but when I record something else on another track the 2nd track records what the first track is playing, is there any way I can just hear the first track without it recording onto the second or any other track?

I'm pretty new at this recording stuff, but I really want to get a halfway decent sounding home studio for rock n' roll going on at my place. I plan on purchasing a digi 002 soon. I have heard that the built in pre's are great on this, but i really don't understand anything about preamps at all. Could anyone give me some advice about this, and any advice that you may have for my studio?

I've got a really kick ass band that I'm recording out here in Chicago and one of the members is moving to southern Florida. He's looking for a list of studios, clubs, and anything else he can find so he can piece together another group down there...record, and get shows.

I have had a Pro Tools (MBox) issue that has stiffled my progress for four days. When I create a new track and hit record enable I get a double hit. The sound could also be describes as an echo or a delay. The funny thing is that the double hit occurs only when record enable is activated. The issue persists whether a stereo or mono track and also in more than one project file.

I made a beat last night and exported it. Before I listened to the mp3 I clicked on midi out and it said preparing for midi export and can not be undone. I still have the beat pattern it is all in one channell with no sound. The mp3's do not play but are exported. My real question is how can I save this beat to it's original pattern and re export it if possible.

Hello everyone. My band is trying to record with a Layla20 and Samplitude. We have a P4 3.0ghz running WinXP. I have some very very basic questions about the Layla, because my band is running into some problems.

I've done research to no avail, read the Layla20 manual 30 times, to no avail, so I thought that I'd stop here and see if any pros could help me out.
