hi. I'm having sum small issues that i really need help with. first off, when i record a guitar track as track one, then record another guitar track as track 2, when i listen to them toghether they are off timing. its really quite strange. how can i fix this?

also, i am trying to get playback thru my pc speakers. is this possible? if so how?

I'm looking to purchase a bass drum mic in the very near future. I've been considering the Shure PG52 since I can get one new for $85 and was wondering how it compares to the mics that are about $100 more such as Beta 52, D112, 602, or anything else. I'm not looking for a professional recording, I just want something decent.

I'm looking at getting an 8 analog input A/D converter that converts to ADAT Lightpipe. The AI-3 is looking tempting, and I can't afford an Apogee. Does any have anything to say about the AI-3? I've read mixed reviews online. Any suggestions under $1500?

My equiptment list:

I am looking to upgrade to an Avalon 737sp.
However I see it only has a mono out. And no SPDIF outs.
How will I get it to connect to my Harmonizer? The Harmonizer (Eventide) and the Lexicon FX units both need left and right inputs to have a incoming signal.

Most of my recordings of acoustic ensembles or solo performers have been done in concert halls, recording studios and on various stages. I have done recordings outside in the snow, in the rain and in a wind storm. I have also recorded in tiled bathrooms and under the stage in a large concert hall to capture the right ambience. I have also recorded in churches in chapels and once inside a car.
