Dear All,

I am having a problem booting up my Asus P4pe beta bios probably once in every three times, monitor does not start, and when I reset I get taken straight to the bios and it says that system hung on last boot up due to incorrect CPU setting. The thing is, I am running the whole thing in normal mode with no overclocking.

Can someone let me know what this might be?

I have a 256 SAMSUNG PC2700 in my machine.
I saw that BBuy has 256 Crucial PC2100 for $25.

Running P4 1.6a at 2.1 (or so I recall...)

Any solutions? I just need more RAM and this seemed to jump into my lap.

I have Nero Express. It was bundled with my TDK CD-RW machine.

I use it to back up big projects as Data (not Audio) to CD. Using CD-RW discs

The files are small enough to fit 2-3 generations of the project.

Well, as you may or may not know I went ahead and got myself the 3.06Ghz CPU with Hyperthreading!

Man oh man! Is this cool! Seeing two CPU's on a sinlge CPU system is very sweet! :D

I'm in the early stage of mixing my first track to completion. I have a violin, strings, kicks, snares, hh's and bass. It's harder than I thought to mix all these things together just starting out. Anyhow I've got everything mixed fine and sound levels where I want them except for that damn kick. I'm using Floops and I don't really have too much memory so some effects lag me down way too much.

Hi everyone, I want to make a stereo bus of my drums so i can compress it to hell and blend it with the original kit.

Is Phase a problem in a situation like this? :D

I found used JBL 4311 monitors. Could someone please tell me if they are really good studio monitors? How do they compare to NS-10s? Does mix on them translate well on all systems? Finally, how do I check if all the drivers are original?

Please help ASAP!

I have a question. If there is a song that is completely made out of AKAI sample instruments (kick, snare, hat, cymbals, bass), akai loops and vocals then how to EQ this? What I mean is: aren't those samples already been eqd? Should we treat them as real instruments?
