Just to preface this post, I'm not extremely knowledgable in loudspeaker/monitor design, so I'm kinda taking a stab at some terminology here.

I recently converted some stuff done in Nuendo to MP3 "Pro" using Cool Edit Pro and it changed the pitch/tempo at various points in the song. Sounds like it slows down in the middle of the tune and then speeds up again before the end. Anybody got any ideas why this would happen and what I can do to fix it - this sucks? I've recently entered the world of DAW by purchasing Digi 001 to work with my PC. I was dismayed to find that the software is rather picky and I need a new PC now. To keep expenses down, I would like to build one.I would appreciate any advice on motherboards, processors, etc. so that I can build a compatable system that works.
