i'm buying a layla24 these days...
it has 8 analog ins, 2 SPDIF ins, 8 ADAT Ins...

does anyone know if i can record the 18ins simultaneous ?
i mean: 8analog + 2 SPDIF + * ADAT Optical ?

i've read things that confused me a "little" bit.
Look at it:

anyone used this combination?
how does it sound?
any sample audio online?

I am having a big trouble with my CW 8571 (Matsh*ta).When I try to burn a 48 or a 40x CD it say "ERROR WITH TARGET DEVICE" but when I use one of the old CD`s like those with only 24x speed they work fine.
Apple G4.733 Mhz.iTune.Roxio Toast and Apple Disk Burner...

Ok guys, here is the situation. I may have the opportunity to buy NS 1000M (I think these are the ones Bill is using, right?). The question is: What are they worth at the moment? What is highest price I should pay? I don't know yet how much the guy will sell it for...he's just considering it. Speakers are in great condition with all original drivers.

My buddy bought the Mbox (I think thats what its called) and now he is looking to upgrade to something with more channels (8), the Digidesign 001 is kinda pricey, and he would like something cheaper, but still use the pro tools software.

does anybody know how to remove "My Music" and "My Pictures" folders in My Documents in XP pro?

i deleted them in C:Documents and Settings but they keep coming back :confused:
the "My Music" comes back when i use WinMediaPlayer i think, but "My Pictures" -no idea

I recently purchased a Toshiba 2435 Satellite and wanted to know what you all thought the best usb i/o for the money was. I use mostly cubase, cool edit, wavelab, and acid. I do some field recording for local advertisers but would like to do bands as well. I have an anus in the studio I am very happy with but when it comes to going mobile I am in the dark.

New Layla needs a new machine. Stability the issue, not price. What would users recommend for CPU, Chipset, mobo.
