popping/clicking on bass track akai sampler

Can somebody else with an akai sampler (s950) please tell me why I am getting popping and clicking sounds when I assign my bass sound to an individual output? I tried adjusting the key filters and other settings on the envelope but no luck. It's really holding back my progress. I thought it was my recorder but turns out its not. Thanks in advance for the input.

Thank You Universal Audio

I just got an email from UA. I don't think they intended it to be shared with everyone otherwise there would have been a weblink. I just wanted to share the gist of the email. Essentially they were letting UAD-1 and UAD-1e users know that as of the next update to UAD drivers, the UAD-1 and UAD-1e cards will no longer be supported. Nice though that they are offering a generous trade in option.

Recording with computer + webcam?

Hello

Provided we can put the PC close to the table where people will be talking and I can run a cable between the sound mixer and the PC, are webcams good enough to record a conference/lecture? Are there webcams that can be put on a tripod?

Also, for that purpose, which application would you recommend for PCs and Macs?

Thank you.

Help! - Indexing tracks on a live recording

Hi

Need a little help. I have a semi-pro home studio and have recorded 2 commercial albums and countless demos, and have always been pleased with the results. I was recently asked to record a band live, so took a PreSonus Firepod and laptop and made the recording using Cubase 5. All mixed and mastered as a single 1hr track, and sounds great (sorry for the conceit!)

How do i use the following equipment to its max use?

Over the years I have accumulated the following equipment. Over the years I have used it to create both instrument and instrumental with vocal tracks for my own performance use using a minimum amount of equipment and without paying an arm and a leg. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED TO DO OVER THE YEARS, I'VE TAUGHT MYSELF AND I AM NOT "INDUSTRY TRAINED".

Piano Connection issue with Focusrite Pro 40

I need help connecting my Casio CTK-551 piano to my pro 40 interface. I had just connected it and recorded a clip with it and noticed that it took about 1 second for me to hear the note i played after I hit the key. I just try to reconnect the piano so I could tell you the steps i took, but I could'nt remember what i did.
