i5 cpu video capable but at what cost?
Wondering if the i5 2500k Gen 2 chip which has on-chip gpu will affect daw performance when using this gpu instead of a separate video card ?
In terms of temps and speed since it does sit within the same die.
Along with Cubase 5 for audio I would be doing some infrequent video rendering but only at a pro-sumer level.

contacting producer/composer
Hey all
I am new here. I am getting mixed answers on a few questions.
I am a heavy metal singer and I sort of know 1 composer/producer who writes stuff not only for his band but for side projects.
How would I approach him to find out if he could use my voice? What do I need to do? Get a demo? I know they will come down here by end of the year.

How to use two ASIO inputs and MME/DirectX together?
I recently purchased Fender Mustang amp and Audio-Technica ATR2500 USB microphone to record my guitar and voice. I thought it would be an affordable choice without the need of an audio interface with other gears
My laptop has Realtek HD(For ASUS U43JC-X1), and I use Ableton Live 8.2.5.
Newbie video recording
Hi, i just wondered if it was possible to use an iphone 4s to video a bands live performance using a main out from the desk for the audio? BFE MV1 Preamp + BFE MK2 EQ - Console or Rack needed !
Hello there,
I was lucky enough to get two BFE MV1 Preamps and two BFE MK2 Eqs..
But unfortunately I didn't succeed in finding a rack or console yet to test them.
Has anyone experience how a DIY construction could be made or does anyone offer that service?
Build it Like the Pros - Up to Date?
Hi Guys..
I'm about to embark on building a studio in my garage - a tracking room and a control room. I'll be going for the room within a room method.
I'm using the the good book by our man Mr Gervais currently, is that book up to date with recent methods? I see the book was published in the mid 00's.
Cheers.
