Following prices of reel-to-reels

I'm re-starting this thread because I'm a newbie to this forum and didn't realize my previous post could taken as spam. Admittedly it was some pretty blatant gushing for two businesses, but I really was just trying to supply the info I had.

So, with that being said (and with the emphasis on the fact that this is NOT SPAM), here's my post again:

Help Please: Yamaha Audiogram 6 Set-up and Music Creator 6

I purchased Audiogram 6 from my local music store, downloaded the Windows 7 Driver for it, and have everything that the instruction manual told me to do done. I can't seem to link it with my Music Creator 6 program. I'm trying to record guitar tracks. Does anyone have any clue how to link the two? I thought it should recognize the device driver immediately, but it doesn't for some reason.

Intel t6600 to a Q9100 or up?

I have laptop with the T6600 in it. The CPU's are swap able.

Considering the FSB and CPU watts are different, can i swap these out?

I do know i may have to change things in the BIOS. ( If the HP allows me to change things.)

If i am not able to, can i at least change over to a T9500 with same specs?

My laptop: HP G71-340US.

Adding a subwoofer to my monitor system?

I've been mixing this Contemporary Christian CD and I find that the amount of true bass - say 40-50Hz and below - doesn't translate well to an environment like a car where this range is hyped. This hasn't been much of an issue before. My mixes of jazz, folk, Americana, etc. are pretty old school and don't put much energy in those frequencies.
