I just recently got a new Behringer UBB1002 as my first mixer and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with the EQ settings and gain. Im new to home recording so I dont really know the standards for proper levels of gain, dB, etc.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I don't know if this is a good place to post this or not, but I'm in need of a sound system for giving some talks to a decent sized room w/ approx 100 people or so. I need some sort of headset mic. I also need to be able to plugin a computer and perhaps some other sound device (some sort of mp3 player). It would be nice if this stuff was wireless.

I just purchased the Behringer X1832USB Mixer and the manual doesn't discuss the SOLO, SUB, and MAIN buttons associated with each channel. Could someone please clarify/describe/advise regarding the use of these buttons? 

The interface is making a significant amount of noise, even with all settings down. It's a bit of white noise laced with a light high pitched buzzing. Possibly electrical? Any suggestions?

Previously, I was using my Tascam US-1641 as an interface for my computer to record various projects. My only issue with the Tascam was that I hated adjusting the volume of the audio using the knobs on the interface. I picked up a used Zoom R16 because I liked the idea of using the sliders as opposed to the knobs to adjust the volume of a recording input.
