Looking for some basic tips to help me start out please!

Have been working with a hard drive multitrack (Tascam DP01-FX), but recently got a laptop so want to edit the tracks on that and add in some good-sounding drums...

Our non profit organization has 2 Elvis 12A powered speakers and a Mixer Tapco Catalina series C12 Master that have been damaged due being plugged into a outlet with reversed wires. the speakers work partially it seems that just the 1/4" socket is damaged but the three prong socket still works. The mixer seems to have damage on two mother boards.

We are located near scranton PA.

Has anyone tested the products from Nova Disc? What I have heard is that they provide comprehensive design, printing, manufacturing, and packaging solutions. Heard they are good but not seen any product from their shop. Anyone else here does?

Anyone have direct experience with RME PCI cards. I'm using an M-audio audiophile 192 ($129), and wondering if the RME ($499) will make a noticable difference.

I've exporting my wav files out of CubaseLE with the proper labeling. When I burn the CD the files come up with no track or artist info. So what I did was imported the CD into itunes, then changed all the info that I needed to. The problem I'm having is that it is only recognizing it in itunes and nowhere else. I've been looking for tag stamping software but no dice.

OK, old units I know. I have just acquired two of them from a friend of mine that passed away and I was just wondering if anyone has aether of these, or would be able to help me with my query?.

So I am new to recording and have a few questions. I recently purchased a Saffire Pro 40 Firewire interface.

My friend is lending me his computer to record, but it needs an internal hard drive and PCI firewire card. I also need an external hard drive for storage.

So lay it on me: what is important in selecting each of these?
